The Isle of Wight is within easy reach of London and the rest of the South of England. The Island is a traditional mecca for yachtsmen and provides some of the best conditions for watersports in the UK. Much of the Island is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers some stunning coastlines from which to surf. Please see the map below for routes to the Island.
Silver Beach at Bembridge offers an excellent venue for teaching kitesurfing. In most wind directions the water is flat, with little or no shore-break, making for a hassle free environment to learn in.
We have moved our office to Yarmouth for 2009, which is nearer our favoutite surf spot - Compton, and has great all tide access for our wakeboard boat - a Camel Trophy Rib.
We are located in Yarmouth, which is on the North-West coast of the Isle of Wight. To visit the Island you will need to get to Southampton, Portsmouth or Lymington and then catch either a car or passenger ferry across. Ferries run on a regular basis and the crossing time is between 15 and 40 minutes depending on which route you take. The Lymingon ferry runs straight into Yarmouth.
We can help with accommodation and ferry bookings - just give us a call or send us an email.
