THE COURSES – INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COURSE (MODULE 3)

In our opinion, the British Kitesurfing Association Instructor Training Course is the most comprehensive Kitesurfing Instructor Course in existence today. Taken in conjunction with Module 2, covering a multitude of topics this course sets the standard for Kitesurfing Instruction across the globe.

Pre-entry requirements are tough, without being prohibitive, and we will help you at every stage to ensure you are suitable to enrol on this course.

Our 2-week course takes place at the X-Isle Sports Centre in Bembridge, on the Isle of Wight, and has 2 distinct sections. The first section focuses on preparing you for the 5-day BKSA ITC which takes place in week 2.

In this first week you will undertake the following courses to ensure you are suitably qualified to take part in week 2:

  • Royal Yachting Association First Aid Course
  • Royal Yachting Association VHF Radio Course
  • Royal Yachting Association Powerboat Level 2 Course

There will also be the opportunity to partake in shadow instruction with qualified X-Isle Sports instructors as well as sample the delights of Kitesurfing on the Isle of Wight.

Week 2 consists of the 5 day British Kitesurfing Association Instructor Training Course. At this end of this week we hope you will have qualified as an instructor and will now be ready start to use the skills you have been taught, in the real world.
